Lorri Grainawi is a retired Director of Technical Services for STI/SPFA, where she worked for 28 years. As part of her job, Lorri was responsible for leading committees, which taught her how to work with individuals with diverse opinions and reach compromises.
This ability to get things done helped her when advocating for a Community Mental Health Board in Wheeling Township, which was voted into existence in 2022. Lorri serves on the Board of NAMI-NWSC (National Alliance on Mental Illness) and is co-president of the Housing Task Force. This group advocates for housing for individuals with disabilities.
Lorri is married with three children, three stepchildren, and three grandchildren, and has been a resident of Wheeling Township for 15 years.
