 | Maria Zeller Brauer Maria Zeller Brauer has been a proud resident of Arlington Heights for over a decade and brings more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and fundraising to her role as Township Supervisor. Her career has been dedicated to advancing healthcare and social service organizations, helping to build stronger, more equitable communities through compassionate leadership and strategic development. Maria holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Arts from Indiana University, combining creativity with strategic thinking to lead effective and mission-driven initiatives. Deeply engaged in the local community, Maria serves on the board of the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, supporting cultural vitality in our community. She is also an active PTA volunteer at her daughter's school, committed to fostering collaboration between families and educators. With deep roots in Wheeling Township and a passion for service, Maria is dedicated to building a community that supports all residents through accessible services and fiscal responsibility.
