Residents in need of food
Food Pantry shopping appointments are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 9:00-12:00 or 1:00-4:00.
If you have registered for the Food Pantry before, please call for an appointment. If you are new to the Food Pantry, please call for registration instructions. Residents using the Food Pantry may return every 2 weeks.
Emergency Bags of food are distributed Monday-Friday 9:00-4:30 pm. Following distribution of an Emergency Bag, an appointment for Food Pantry registration will be given.
Donations
Donations are accepted Mon-Fri from 9:00-4:00 in the Supervisor's Office.
If you prefer a monetary donation, checks should be made payable to "Wheeling Township Emergency Fund, Inc.", which is the legal name of the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization to which the Food Pantry belongs. Food gift cards to Jewel or Aldi in amounts of $25 or less are also appreciated

Needed Items:
- Baking products (cake mixes, flour, sugar, etc)
- Beans (white northern, cannellini or kidney)
- Canned fish (tuna, salmon)
- Cereal (any type)
- Cleaning supplies (kitchen/bathroom cleaners, window cleaners, etc)
- Condiments (ketchup, mayo, mustard, salad dressing)
- Diapers (child and adult)
- Feminine hygiene supplies
- Fruit (apple sauce, canned peaches/pears/pineapple)
- Meat products (beef stew, canned chicken/ham, corned beef hash)
- Pancake mixes and syrup
- Paper products (napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, etc)
- Personal hygiene items (deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, shaving cream)
- Potatoes (instant mashed, au gratin, four cheese, scalloped)
- Snacks (granola bars, fruit snacks, treats)
- Soap products (hand soap, laundry detergent, etc)
