Josephine Stellato is the Director of Finance and Administration and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Township offices, personnel and programs. Jo assists the Supervisor in developing the levies and budgets and monitoring investments. She reports directly to the Supervisor and Board of Trustees and is the liaison to the social service agencies funded by the Township. Jo writes the Township's quarterly newsletter, brochures and coordinates website publication. Jo is supported by Wheeling Township's dedicated elected officials and a staff of professional service providers.

Julie Villarreal is the Director of General Assistance. Her department qualifies residents for financial assistance and is an information and referral resource for other services. Besides General Assistance and Emergency Assistance, Julie is responsible for the Township's Food Pantry, Holiday Giving programs, as well as the Mobile Dental Clinic, Access to Care and LIHEAP intake assessments. Assisting Julie is the Assistant Director of General Assistance, a Caseworker, Food Pantry Coordinator and countless volunteers.

Lynndah Easterwood Lahey is the Township's Director of Senior and Disabled Services. Her duties include overseeing the transportation operation, Meals on Wheels, Friendly Visitor and Health Screening Services. Lynndah also hosts a variety of educational forums and support groups and represents Wheeling Township on a number of Committees established to enrich the lives of the elderly and disabled. Assisting her are the Assistant Director, Bus Dispatchers, Bus Drivers, Nurse and countless volunteers.

Linda Hallett is the Township's Administrative Assistant and secretary to the Supervisor and Director of Finance & Administration. Her duties include the upkeep and maintenance of the building, meeting room rental, procurement of supplies, tech support, and coordination of staff schedules. Assisting her are the Receptionist, Maintenance personnel and Security Officer.

Mary Sebastian is the Wheeling Township Chief Deputy Assessor. She assists the Assessor with the operation of the department and works with one full-time and four part-time employees. Mary's responsibilities along with the staff include assisting residents with tax bills and property tax appeals with the Cook County Assessor and the Board of Review. The department assists in filing property tax refund applications, name and address changes, homeowner, senior, senior freeze, disability, and veterans' disability exemptions. They record building permits and sales transfer declarations along with other property related issues.

Tom Neitzke is the Wheeling Township Deputy Highway Commissioner. Under the direction of the Highway Commissioner, Tom works with independent contractors to repair and maintain streets, storm sewers, and street signs along the 5 miles of unincorporated roads. Tom, along with the Highway Commissioner and Engineer, reviews plans and permits for streets, right of ways, and building construction.
